As a part of our service learning we have been learning to care for others, so this week we took part in the Shoe Box Appeal. The children in reception and their parent/carers donated lots of lovely gifts to give to those less fortunate as a gift for Christmas. They then put them in a shoe box, wrapped them up and wrote a card. We will now send them to a charity called S.M.I.L.E.S who will distribute them across the country to families in need.
A big thank you to those who participated! We had a huge turn out!
