Hello fantastic Nursery and Key Stage 1 students.
Hopefully you have gotten a chance to listen to our song of the week ‘Shake My Sillies Out’ (if you haven’t, it is at the bottom of this post).
Today, we are going to learn the song together, singing ‘my-turn’ then ‘your-turn’. If you’ve got a toy or a friend who would like to join us, that would be wonderful.
Don’t forget to warm up first with the ‘Key Stage 1 and Nursery Music Warm-Up’ video.
Once you’ve finished learning the song, try some of these activities:
- Sing the whole song from the beginning with actions. The link for the song is at the bottom of this post. Why not try making up some of your own actions?
- Make up your own verse for the song and add it on to the beginning, middle or end.
- Make a recording of yourself singing your version of the song and ask your parent or carer to send to your year-group email.
Remember, the most important thing is to have fun!
