The children in Year 1 had a fantastic sports day on Wednesday morning. During their PE lessons this term, the children have been preparing by practising all the skills they would need to complete the races. Throughout the morning, it was great to see the children smiling and supporting each other with energetic cheering. Sports day was filled with a joyful atmosphere and it was fantastic to see such great sportsmanship, no matter which team won they were all so happy for each other.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all the parents who were able to make it to the event, your support and encouragement for the children was amazing. Also thank you to those parents who joined in with the parent races, your participation was greatly appreciated and really helped make the event enjoyable for the children.
