Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their sports day this week. The children showed off their amazing sports’ skills and great sportsmanship. We saw everything from vortex throwing to relay racing to hurdle jumping. One of the nicest parts of the afternoon was seeing the children cheer each other on and show their support – even for their opponents! Parents and carers joined in fantastically too – thank you! It was a great afternoon, organised brilliantly by Mr Collymore and Mr Francis, supported by Year 5 and Year 6 children. A huge well done to Mayesbrook (4T) who were crowned winners – they celebrated in style!
