The Spring Term has flown by and it’s unbelievable, with the weather today, that we only have the Summer Term left!
We have been so busy this week!
We’ve undertaken our RE week, where we have been finding out ‘Why Christians celebrate Easter.’ During our English sessions we watched a video on a sunrise, then working in groups, we created a strip poem to perform to the rest of the class.
And we’ve all been busy fundraising by completing a sponsored walk/run around the field. Our aim was to complete at least 8laps. Mrs Weavers only completed 7 as she had a slow start taking pictures, but others helped by completing up to 15 laps!
Collectively with the whole school an amazing total over £3000 has been raised for the DEC charity, and we thank each and everyone of you for this outstanding amount!
The pupils were victims to several April Fools Day pranks today, but they took them all in good humour…..eventually!
Have a very enjoyable Easter break, however you will spend it, and we will welcome you back on Tuesday 19th April.
