This week in Year 1, our PSHE sessions have centred around the theme of success and the pathways to achieving our goals. We engaged with the story of “Pauli the Penguin,” reflecting on the various obstacles he faced in pursuit of his goal. Through acting out the narrative, we were able to discuss the emotions that Pauli experienced while overcoming each challenge. This activity helped reinforce the understanding that while success often entails hurdles, it is essential to recognise that help is always available. We are proud of ourselves for our thoughtful contributions and enthusiasm during these discussions.
