Year 1 have been doing fantastic home learning over the past few weeks. We are becoming experts at using zoom during our online classes and working extremely hard on our ClassDojo activities.
This week in Art, we had a go at creating artwork in the style of Giuseppe Arcimboldo using actual fruits and vegetables.
In RE, we learnt about Sikhism and the importance of the naming ceremony. We then researched the meaning of our own names.
For the past two weeks, we have been focusing on the book ‘The robot and the bluebird’ in our writing. We had a go at using thought and speech bubbles and created our own robot model using recyclable materials and blocks.
In maths, we explored different combinations of numbers in addition and subtraction using pictorial and number representations.
