Swimming is back for Monteagle!
Last week was the first week the children started swimming again, and they loved it! This time of year can be chilly still, but also warm days do arrive here and there, so it is already nicer when getting out of the pool. Some of the children, when in the pool, are still a bit unsure and nervous to begin with. Some children who presented in this way the last time really surprised us, as this time they were more confident and happy to swim by themselves, which was really great to see! The rest of the children are splashing around throughout the time and swimming up and down, back and forth, loving their time in the water. We have some pictures from class AO this week with swimming, so take a look below.
We also have some pictures of some of our EYFS children participating in sensory tray Maths activities, where they need to put the numbers into the right spaces on the tray that correspond to the matching numbers. For example, the number ‘5’ was needed to be put in the number ‘5’ circle. The children were able to complete this independently, with some engagement with adults.
