In Year we have been learning about Tag Rugby.
For many of our children this was their first try at Tag Rugby.
The children have learnt the rules, the skills and tactics to; engage, participate and play games and matches of Tag Rugby.
Some children were selected to take part in the borough Tag Rugby competition. On the day, the children played 4 group matches, winning 2 and losing 2. This was enough to qualify through the group stages and into the Quarter finals.
Unfortunately we did not do enough in the quarter finals to progress to the Semi fiinals.
None the less, the children of year 6 have made excellent strides with their learning, personal and skill development in Tag Rugby.
