For Year 3’s curriculum unit, Gateways to the World, Year 3 visited London City Airport.
We were intrigued with how the airport was being run and spoke to security staff, baggage handlers, ticket staff and police officers. We had no idea so many staff members were needed to keep things running smoothly. The highlight of the trip had to be be watching a plane take off into the sky.
After being inspired from our trip, we are looking forward to creating our own airport.
