We were lucky enough to have a visit this week from a faith leader in our local community. She came to us prepared to discuss the upcoming Christmas holiday and Incarnation, and delve a little deeper into the religious tradition and meaning of this period.
The children enjoyed dressing up (some of the boys found the dresses very comfy), and it was great to learn more about one religions ideology.
Incarnation: Def. The belief that the God of the Universe – the all-powerful, all-loving Being who created the world and everything in it – chose to become a tiny baby. Although never ceasing to be God, he knew exactly what it was like to be a human – for good and for bad.
