Year 2 went on an exciting adventure this week to the Gruffalo Trail in Thorndon Park, Brentwood. We all had a brilliant time! We explored the forest, searching for different animals. We learnt all about the forest environment, squirrels, foxes, mice, owls and about snakes. We even found the adult and baby Gruffalo!

Thank you for all wrapping your children up in plenty of clothes and suitable footwear for a long cold day outside in the fresh air. Although it was a little nippy, the children got a lot from the trip so we really appreciate your assistance.

We have provided a gallery of photos from all of our classes. I am sure you can tell by the looks on their faces just how much fun the children were having.
