In English this half term, we have started reading ‘The Tin Forest’ by Helen Ward and Wayne Anderson. The children have done lots of fantastic work based on the book and have enjoyed reading the beginning of the story.
One of the activities children completed this week was to ‘hot seat’ in role as the old man from the story. The children worked in pairs to discuss questions they might ask him, thinking about what they had learned about his character and shared their ideas with the class. Some of the children played the part of the old man and did an amazing job!
