Year One were visited by a toy maker from 100 years ago! He showed us lots of exciting toys from the past and explained how they are different to the toys that we play with today. We found out that in the past toys were made from wood, metal and china. Some toys moved by pushes and pulls, while others move with strings or by clockwork.
We enjoyed learning about the historical toys. It was lots of fun to play with toys that we had never seen before.
