Recently we observed at first hand one of the delights of the natural world. Two adult birds built a nest in one of our Nursery trees and then laid an egg. We watched the parent birds take turns to fly off to get food for the partner so that at no time was the egg left unattended. Then one day we saw that the parent birds were displaying very energetic behaviour and while we were watching we saw the baby chic pop it’s head out from the nest. We were all very excited to have witnessed such a special event in our own garden.
