This week we have continued to read the book ‘The Other Side of Truth’ by Beverley Naidoo.
After Uncle Dele fails to turn up to meet Sade and Femi at Heahrow, we learn that the children travel to Victoria Station where their ‘mother’, Mrs Bankole, meets a mystery man. Mrs Bankole suddenly disappears, leaving the children alone.
We wrote poems in the perspective of Femi and Sade to reflect how they felt being stranded, alone in a different country.
