We are back from our half term break and back into full swing, with some wet and windy maths exploration. Each class has had the opportunity to practically explore different containers and verbally discuss the notions of CAPACITY and VOLUME, considering comparisons along the way.
Importantly we learnt the difference that volume is the amount of space taken up by the water, whereas capacity is the specific measure of an object’s ability to hold/contain the water.
