This week we have been learning about how builders help us. This week, Mr McCarthy the school caretaker, came into our classes and talked to us about his role within the school. He introduced the children to his tools, the safety clothing he needs to wear and spoke about the different aspects of his job. The children thoroughly enjoyed his visit.
“I want to be a caretaker when I grow up.” Were the responses of many of the children after Mr McCarthy had left.
