Year 3 have begun learning the legendary disco song, ‘We are family’ recorded by American vocal group Sister Sledge and composed by Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers.
So far, they have learnt the first verse and chorus as well as a rather catchy instrumental on the glockenspiel. We spent time rehearsing with our learning partner and were then given the opportunity to perform to our classmates. Please watch us play our instrumental both individually and as a class below.
We are looking forward to learning the second verse this week and performing the whole song.
