We are learning like Superheroes!

After the half term break reception children have been learning about Superheroes. Playing superheroes got all the children to think imaginatively. Choosing what super powers, they wanted to have, this idea helped all the children to practice making choices. Using lots of language throughout different activities especially the Role play allowed them to hear words that they usually hadn’t used in their daily interactive language usage. All the children also were encouraged to use descriptive vocabulary which was also out of the ordinary, especially those words for describing actions.

Also, as the sun has been shining most days, children have also had fun outdoors. Overall all it was a week full of fun and plenty of interactive activities which was enjoyed by all the reception children.
