We enjoyed the story of the gingerbread man!

This week, reception children have been reading the much loved and widely read all over the world, the traditional story, ‘the gingerbread man’. During their reading session, most children repeated the famous catchphrase, “Run, run as fast as you can! You can’t catch me. I’m the Gingerbread Man!”
In Maths, children have been learning to do 1 to 1 correspondence counting using a variety of objects correctly.
Children enjoyed working on a variety of activities, both, indoors and outdoors. They all worked hard and enjoyed decorating their classroom with their creative Christmas activities. It was lovely to observe all the children engaged in their activities.
This weekend, at your leisure, please read some more traditional tales with them. Also, encourage your children to log in and read their Collins eBooks online.
