Our focus story book this week has been one of our favourite stories “The Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister. As part of our learning, we did lots of creative activities, writing, drawing, colouring and counting activities focussed around the rainbow fish. We also learnt about the feelings of the rainbow fish. We now know that when she didn’t share her scales she had no friends but when she learnt to share and care, all became her friends and she no more lonely! For mathematics activity, we also took a number card, then created a tower using that many blocks. Then we worked out to find one more/ one less from that tower by adding/ taking away a block. We have also acted out the story and had lots of fun. Take a look at some of our lovely writing and creative work!
