We have had a great start to the term and a fun filled week of learning. In phonics, we’ve been focusing on the ‘L’ sound, exploring words, practicing our listening skills, and enjoying some engaging activities to support sound recognition.
In our understanding of the world lessons we have been learning all about Easter and talking about the meaning behind the celebration.
In maths, we have been busy recognising numbers to 10 and practicing our counting using 1:1 correspondence. The children have really enjoyed the hands-on activities and are becoming more confident with their number work.
