What has religion got to do with the environment?

This week, Year 5 explored the relationship between humans and the environment. We also tackled some of the religious and non-religious views regarding this topic.

First we looked at different accounts of the creation story before delving into some of the religious views on why the world is sacred.

Next, we considered whose responsibility it is to make sure the world is cared for, how the different accounts on creation could impact how we view the environment and what it means to care for the planet.

Finally, we created a poster to raise awareness for some of the environmental issues we are facing in the world today.
