This week, Year 1 have taken their learning both inside the classroom and outside by classifying and sorting objects into the correct materials. We looked at what is metal, fabric, glass, plastic, rubber, wood and paper. We haven even discussed, what some of the properties of the materials were e.g. rubber is flexible and often stretchy.
