This World Book Week, children delved into the works of Benjamin Zephaniah, a renowned writer and poet. They explored his poems and are eagerly waiting to perform their poetry in Monday’s assembly. Adding a creative touch, the children designed covers for their favourite books. Friday brought extra excitement as children dressed up as their favourite book characters. The week’s highlight was a visit from author Margaret Bateson-Hill, who shared stories about her best-selling books.
