This week, Year 3 embarked on a special trip to our local mosque, a key part of our Religious Education curriculum. It was an enriching experience that helped us learn more about Islam and its traditions.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by members of the mosque, who shared fascinating insights about their religion. We began with a guided tour, where the children explored the mosque’s beautiful architecture, from the prayer hall to the ablution areas. The pupils were curious and respectful, asking thoughtful questions about the daily routines and practices of worshippers.

One highlight of the trip was listening to the Adhan, the call to prayer. Hearing it live was a moving moment that left many of us in awe. The students were amazed at how this call connects people to their faith and daily routines.

This trip not only enhanced our knowledge of Islam but also encouraged respect and understanding for different cultures and beliefs. We’re already looking forward to Class 3H’s visit in the new year and can’t wait to hear what they learn!

A huge thank you to the mosque staff for their warm hospitality and to our parents and guardians for their continued support in making trips like this possible. 🌟
