This week, Year 6 children headed out on an adventure to the London Science Museum. Despite the long journey, the children were very excited and kept themselves busy with a variety of activities on the train up to London.
Once we arrived at the museum, and dropped off our belongings, we explored the different floors of the museum, the Space gallery was a favourite.
After lunch, we made our way to the new ‘WonderLab’ with lots of hands-on activities and mini science experiments for the children to interact with. The pulley chairs were a favourite, along with Mr A ‘volunteering’ to compete with the Y6 children.
Everyone had a brilliant time navigating the different experiments and learning in an active way. All in all, it was a fantastic day of Science.
