We are super pleased to be announcing that our Young Voices choir will be restarting after half term holiday. Year 6 students will be able to sign up to attend in person rehearsals on Tuesdays from 3:20-4:20 pm in the KS2 Sports Hall.
The rehearsals will also be available for students from all year groups to join from home online, to join in the singing fun. This means that whether at school or at home, we can continue share in the magic of singing together.
‘Young Voices’ stages the largest children’s choir concerts in the world. Due to Covid restrictions ‘Young Voices’ is planning the worlds’ biggest group sing, in February 2021, online. This means that every student in the school can take part!
Then in May, so long as Covid restrictions allow, our Young Voices Year 6 Choir will hopefully be performing as part of the Young Voices concert at the O2 Arena. Yes, we will all have glow lights this year!
The music that we will sing ranges from pop and rock hit songs, through to medleys from our favourite movies and musicals. The concerts will feature the children performing alongside celebrities from the music industry. This experience is completely free.
How do you sign up to take part in the ‘Young Voices’ choir experience?
1.) If you are in Year 6 you can ask your parents/carers to sign you up for the in person rehearsals on Tuesday from 3:20-4:20 pm via Parent Mail, or email the office directly. We will ensure that we are following government guidance on group singing

2.) If you are in any other year group from Reception to Year 5, ask your parents/carers to sign up to get the link to our weekly online rehearsal via Parent Mail, or email the office directly.
