This term we have started a new topic called ‘Fit for Life.’
On Monday the 10th Yasmin Millar (Team GB athlete – sprinter/hurdler) came in to visit us and tell us about her fitness and regimes. We even had the chance to be put through our running paces by her, which was great. We wish her luck in her attempt to qualify for the GBR team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Our plan over the next few weeks is to investigate all things health and fitness and test ourselves to see if we can become fitter. We will be conducting many physical tests and also thinking about our sleep health and our diet to see if they have an effect too.
We will keep you posted over the coming weeks with anything we find – don’t be surprised if you see us running laps around the playground!
