In Year 2 Music, we have been hard at work learning to transition between the chords C, C7 and A minor on the ukulele. In order to transition we need a lot of ear/hand/eye coordination. When we are reading to transition, we lift, move and place our finger(s) on the new chord’s position – all while continuing to strum in time with the pulse of theĀ music.
We have also been exploring the notes that make up chordsĀ – two or more notes played at the same time. To create a harmony (a pleasing sound to the ear), we leave a space between the notes. We hope you enjoy our ukulele fun!
