This week year 3 spent some time exploring the term ‘Autism’. We learnt that it is a word used to describe a lifelong condition which can affect an individual’s social and communication skills.
Through our learning, we were able to understand that we are all very different and that we must always celebrate such differences.
Using pieces of a jigsaw, we identified positive words and phrases to describe one another and put each piece together to create a full puzzle!
We are all a piece of a puzzle and we all fit together in the world.
