The Year 3 camping residential was absolutely brilliant this year. Well done to everyone who braved a night in the tents on the school field. We had a great time doing the activities – playing rounders, orienteering, toasting marshmallows and learning circus skills. Everyone tucked into the hot-dogs and salad for dinner and the choc ice was a real treat for all! The weather held out for us, it was a lovely warm and bright evening so we were able to be outside until after 9pm. The hot chocolate before bedtime went down well and there were lots of chocolate moustaches afterwards! There was time to play cards or read by torch light before lights out. The children all slept well although the morning sunshine meant they woke early on Friday morning!
