As part of Maths Week, Year 3 students took part in an exciting Code-Breaking activity in the school hall. It was a thrilling challenge that tested their problem-solving, teamwork, and mathematical skills!
The children worked in teams to solve a series of tricky puzzles, each bringing them closer to cracking the final code. The hall was buzzing with excitement as everyone collaborated, shared ideas, and supported one another.
The tasks were designed to stretch their thinking and apply their learning in fun and creative ways. From solving riddles to cracking number sequences, the activity encouraged perseverance and a positive attitude towards tackling challenges.
Two teams came incredibly close to breaking the code, showing fantastic determination and logical thinking. Though no team fully cracked it, the effort and teamwork displayed were impressive, and every child left with a huge smile and a sense of accomplishment.
A big thank you to all the staff involved in organising this wonderful activity—it truly brought Maths Week to life!
