This week, children in year 3 were challenged with various tasks on their table.
One table was given clay and they had to create a tile using tools. Once this was created they had to carve a design of an animal into it.
The next table was given paper that they had to crumple to create the effect of a cave. They used browns, reds, yellows, and whites to create their cave painting.
The last group was given black paper that they also crumpled and used white chalk to create their animal designs.
Once these are all dry the children will participate in a critique about each others work. Stay tuned for updates but in the meantime check out the photos below.
