This term, year 3 have been studying all about locomotives and railways. The children conducted research to find out about railways in different cities of Britain.
A competition was then conducted and using their research, the children had to convince everyone that their city deserved to win the title of ‘Railway City of the Year’.
After much deliberations, the judges finally decided that Newcastle deserved to win the award with Cambridge coming close second.
