During the summer term twelve children across Year 4 took part in the Brilliant Club. Each week they attended tutorials and by the end of the programme they had to produce a seven hundred word essay based on the topic of Philosophy: What is fairness?, the children faced this challenge with great determination and produced excellent work. The children’s work was marked using university style grades with two children receiving a 1st, eight children receiving a 2:1 and two children receiving a 2:2.
On Wednesday 13th July the children attended a graduation ceremony at Kings College London to celebrate their achievements. During the day the children got to meet some students from the university and were shown around the campus. The day ended with the children being presented with a certificate. Emilia and Jainil gave a speech about their experience of being part of the Brilliant Club.
