In Year 4 we have begun exploring the magic of chair drumming. This is part of our Year 4 topic for Black History Month ‘The Music of Carnival’. Carnival often features the music of calypso and steel drums.
Students are learning to create beats using coordination between their right and left hands, and with their feet. It’s loads of fun and takes a lot of focus!
