Last week, Year 4 went on a trip to Barking library to see a wonderful exhibition of all our fabulous context work!
Over the last last term, Year 4 have been working incredibly hard learning all about the Romans and their impact on Great Britain. Each class chose a different area of our context to feature in the exhibition which included the Roman army, Julius Caesar, Boudicca and how the Romans changed Britain. Our exhibition even included home-learning we had completed such as our spectacular shields!
When we arrived at the library, we were astonished to see our work even from the outside! Once inside, we took time to read each others work and our faces lit up when we saw our own! It was a great feeling to know we had made our very own exhibition and that our work would be read and admired, not just by people at the school, but by people from all over Barking! Understandably, the children were very proud of themselves and their teachers were proud of them too!
