Year 5 have been exploring all things related to percussion! Did you know that percussive instruments can be both pitched and unpitched?
We have been using our understanding of tempo, pulse, rhythm to learn drumming patterns and improvise on the unpitched drum kit. We have also been using notes C-F and G to explore chord progressions, the c major (heptatonic) scale on the pitched piano and xylophone.
