In Year 5, we have been trailing the Musical Futures way of learning. This is when a teacher shows the children the skills needed to play many instruments and the different options they can use and then the children spend 2-3 weeks arranging a chosen piece in the way they want to. We chose Jessie J – Price Tag. This is a group from 5NK. They asked me to sing with them as they didn’t feel confident to sing this time. Hope fully next time! I really enjoyed singing with this group, they have a clear arrangement, kept to the beat and all listened to each other. They had arranged them music so that there were different rhythms and sounds used buy each instrument and used a conductor. Well done.
