This week we continued reading our book Rose Blanche. We hit a crucial point in the book in which Rose is faced with the huge dilemma of deciding whether to help the children she has just come across in the concentration camp or to mind her own business.
We discussed the pros and cons of each action and decided to perform a conscience alley to help Rose make her decision.
We each wrote what we believe was the best thing for Rose to do along with an explanation as to why we think this. One student in each class took on the role of Rose and walked down an alley of children each giving their opinion to Rose. In order to persuade Rose to do what we think is right we needed to use persuasive language.
At the end of the alley and after careful consideration Rose made her decision.
