Our Year 6 bands wowed last Friday’s assembly with their ‘Anti-Bullying Blues’ compositions. Our compositions included the blues melody, the 12 bar blues, ostinato (repetition), a swing beat and lyrics. We also are beginning to use our understanding of timbre, or the quality of sound which an instrument produces.
