Week 3 – Steady Hand Game
Our third week was spent building circuits and using electricity to complete STEADY HAND GAMES…
Today we focused on engineering our own complete circuits, manipulating our designs to make the game as tough as possible before challenging our friends to try and complete them – without turning the light bulb on! This was a tough little project to complete over the course of the 45 minute session, but everyone worked hard and helped each other to ensure we all left home for the weekend with a completed working game.
This session was just as exciting as the first two: ‘Rockets’ & ‘Scuttlebugs’ – the children enjoyed themselves yet again and listened really carefully to the instructions. Along with all the fun, we considered the STEM principles of ELECTRICITY , SWITCHES & CIRCUITS. I hope the children challenged you to complete their games and tried to explain how they had made them to you all.
See you all next Friday!
