Gliders & Fidget Spinners
Over the last few weeks the children have been challenged with 2 quite difficult STEM projects: Air Rockets and Fidget Spinners. Using a variety of resources to follow some quite technical designs, the children all managed to leave their sessions with working models and I was really impressed with their work ethic.
Along with the fun, we considered many STEM PRINCIPLES along the way: MOMENTUM, VELOCITY & AERODYNAMICS.
Although it is sad that the club rota has ended for this term, I think it has been a great success and it is wonderful to see so many children engaged and passionate about science and design and so eager to impress each Friday afternoon.
