Week 1 – Air Rockets
Our first week went off with a BANG!
This week we focused on making rockets and firing them around the classroom – testing who could send their one the furthest. The session went by very quickly, yet everyone managed to build two designs and compare their effectiveness.
The session was really fun and the children all seemed to enjoy themselves. We even managed to squeeze in a little bit of learning – considering FORCE , MATERIALS, AERODYNAMICS, RESISTANCE & ANGLES – and I hope the children practised firing their rockets all weekend.
