After months of practice, learning words, sign language and dance moves, Monteagle Choir’s big performance at Young Voices 2024, at the 02 arena, finally arrived! To say they were excited was an understatement!
The photos and videos (some courtesy of our very kind parents) show what an absolutely amazing experience it was for both the children and staff. Just minutes into the concert, a Year 6 pupil sat behind me said, “This is the best night of my life,” and I could absolutely see why as it was easily the most memorable and moving experience I have had as a teacher. The children sung their hearts out and I still cannot believe just how many songs they learnt off by heart.
It is also important to mention, that the children’s behaviour throughout the day was exceptional, especially considering what a long day of rehearsals and performing they had undertaken. All the children should be extremely proud of themselves and just how wonderfully they represented themselves and Monteagle.
