This week in Year 1, we had an engaging animals workshop on Wednesday. The workshop was a fantastic opportunity for us to meet, handle, and learn about a variety of animals. This experience perfectly complemented our ongoing science topic on Animals, where we are exploring the different groups of animals such as mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds, and invertebrates. During the workshop, we investigated whether the animals were herbivores, omnivores, or carnivores and we even sorted them into a food chain to grasp how they depend on each other for survival. The session was thoroughly enjoyed by all, with Emily, our wonderful instructor, making the learning experience both educational and fun.
